Mama Land

Well, I'm here dreaming in Mama Land.
It's so awesome...I'm a mommy now. My little baby boy. Micah Isaiah Rosado. Who could ever ask for more. I realize when I look into his eyes, He's Mine. Wow. Then I think to myself...no. God, He's Yours. Yep This is a life that will be there forever. Onto eternity. I only pray, every night that he will follow in Christ's steps. I think to myself...This is my child, born of my flesh. Everytime I see him I smile...yes, even at those 3am feedings every night. His smile automatically makes me smile no matter what. I love him sooo much! And not only that but I know his cry. I know the cry that says "mama feed me". I know the cry that says "mama burp me" :-) I know the cry that says "mama I'm sleepy" and I know the cry that says "mama CHANGE me!!!"
Now imagine, All this love I have for this one little boy. It's nothing compared to the love God has for him, or for me, or for you. HE created you, he knows you. He knows when your hungry for what is right and what you truly need; something to fill your void. He knows when you have pain inside that needs relief (yes like the baby's burp). He knows when you need peace. And he knows when you need CHANGE.
So if you feel like your ready to let God fill that void inside of you. If you feel like your ready to let God comfort you. If you are ready to let God give you peace of heart and of mind. IF YOU ARE READY TO LET GOD TAKE AWAY THE SIN IN YOUR LIFE AND MAKE YOU A NEW CREATION IN HIM...follow this simple plan---Easy as ABC.
A---Acknowledge you are a sinner.
B---Believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and he died for your sins.
C---Confess your sin and REPENT (Turn away from it and don't do it again).
Tell God everything and ask for forgiveness. He's there. Ready for you. Just let Him take care of it.
Give your life to Him--- He gave His life for you.
P.S. Sometimes my baby cries and fights sleep because he doesn't understand that's what he is really wanting. He just know's that somethings not right. Don't fight what God has for you. HE knows you best. He made you. He loves you and he has a wonderful plan for your life!

Home is where the FOOD is.

Well. I'm here at my parents house. Man, these people never eat here, I can tell....Cause there's no FOOD! Me and Jon are staying the night b/c we are thinking of moving in sometime in september so we can start saving mula for a new house. I just wanted to say that God is soooo Awesome! Our church has bought a couple of properties right there around the church and as many of you know, one of them is going to be turned into a lil Cafe and also new offices for all us staff. Yay! My own office...(No offense Jonathan! I love you.)
Yeah so like I was saying, we also purchased a couple of lots behind the church which we are using for parking. Going good going good.
Well NOW... there is over an acre of land close to the church that went for sale and when we first saw it it was like 1.2 Million dollars. God has really put vision in my dad's heart to buy a lot of this land around the church to expand! Well, the church prayed on Monday Night Prayer (6:00pm if you wanna join) and they prayed for that land. TADA!!! They went to go talk to the owners and found out they had brought the price down like $400,000! So now it's up for $800,000!!!!! WOW.
The house we bought for the cafe was almost 200,000 and they gave it to us for 100,000! That's God. We want to make an offer for $400,000 because that is the amount the loan company granted us. We are believing God that He will provide a way. So keep praying for us and this land.
Our vision is to make the current church an education center, have a cafe for fellowship and what not, Build a Multipurpose Gymnasium on the current land we have that will triple the amount of people we have on sunday mornings now, and maybe build on the land behind us to have a recovery home for those who are getting off drugs and that lifestyle, we are hoping that we can buy the two homes that are between this land we are praying for and the current church. That would almost give us the whole block. MAN WE SHOULD MAKE THE CITY AN OFFER FOR THE WHOLE CITY...YEAH!!! :)
Jon's vision is to start a Master's commission and get these Uth discipled for Jesus! God is doing SOOOO much it's not even funny! I don't even think I mentioned all we plan to do or what is already in progress, but you probably get my drift now. Pray hard all you prayer warriors. God wants to reach Avondale, Arizona and all the surrounding areas!!!!
For those of you still with me on this Blog Post! Thanks So much for your interest. And God Bless y'all. Keep us in your prayers....
As a little added note!! WE HAVE 4 WEEKS LEFT UNTIL MY DUE DATE!!! WOOOOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Magic Records? And a Baboon Heart?

Well well well. Another day...another night. Just thought I'd drop a thought. I was sitting here thinking about, well everything, and it dawned on me. Why in the world do we worry so much. Doesn't the word of God say that as Children of the King we need not worry. Ok, maybe not in those words, but - honestly. We worry so much everyday. But we are God's children. Heirs in his family. And we worry about the smallest things, day to day. If it's about finances, we worry...Do I have enough this month? Well, God also gave us brains, we could figure out a way to calculate our expenses and not be so careless w/ our money. He gave us a way to work hard and earn our livings. We just gotta be smart about it. And if we're not smart enough. Um, hello...ask God for more wisdom! Maybe I won't have all the wisdom in the world. Maybe I won't be the next Solomon, but I think that God can help me through everything.
And sometimes, we just ask too much. How many things do you WANT in life, but don't really need. If your single...Do you HAVE to have a husband or wife, or you'll just DIE. You're biological clock is ticking..,.Tick Tock. Whatever. God could be doing you a favor, what if you married too early, to a guy with a genetic problem somewhere in the line of his ancestry and, by having his child, it could be a handicapped child, or even you could die. God knows what he's doing, let's trust him! I know he makes the most of bad situations and everything works so it's according to His plan, dot dot dot. But sometimes we can avoid those bad situations by just listening to God.
Many of us say we have a relationship with God, but how can we? I know some of you know exactly where to go if you want money. Your Parents. "mom, dad can I have 20 dollars to go to the movies?" And as their kids we had no problem asking. WEll. some of us...So why can't we be comfortable with God? Because we don't know Him well enough. It's like putting in a request for a Work Order at SAGU...(or entering a contest) for some of us. We just put in our slip of paper and wait. Whether it happens or not...WHO KNOWS? Why does it have to be that way. Why can't we just ask God... We need to know our Father. We need to spend time with Him. And we need to stop being sooo needy, sometimes all we need is HIM. not stuff! Maybe it's better he didn't give us that new car, because it wasn't right for us.
Anyway. I guess i'll get off my lil soapbox for now and just end with this.
Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:6
and:
Matthew 6:
25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, F54 or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life? F55 28 And why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not worry, saying, "What will we eat?' or "What will we drink?' or "What will we wear?' 32 For it is the Gentiles who strive for all these things; and indeed your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But strive first for the kingdom of God F56 and his F57 righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 "So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today's trouble is enough for today.
