This is Me

Well, I'm trying to start a new blog, but I just can't find the right name. Well, I've found several "right" names but they seem to all be taken. Funny because on a lot of them, they aren't even there. Just registered to someone. Sad. I want to start a blog for mom's. I have so many ideas and resources that I want to site on this blog. So I'll be thinking for a couple of days of just the right name for my new blog. I have posted a new profile pic. This is me. Jennifer Rosado. Be on the look-out for the new blog site as I will be posting it soon!

I lost my Ipod

It happened last Saturday, I left my iPod on the airplane coming home from visiting my family. I had my two boys with me so it was hard enough as it was to try to keep them quiet on the plane, and then upon leaving the terminal, I realize I didn't have it with me. I'm kind of upset now, because I have not recieved any reports of it being found. I contacted the Airline Lost and Found, Airport Lost and Found, filed a police report, and even spoke with the Head of the cleaning crew for that flight. I was the very last passenger off the airplane that night, so the only people behind me were the flight crew.
Kind of Sad if one of them took it because I rode the train all the way back to the baggage area with them all, and if anyone of them did get it, they had to think about it the whole trip there. Me and my two little boys sitting right near them. The only other thing I can think is that the very same crew that told me they didn't find it, took it and lied.
Sometimes I hate thinking the worst , but it's been 5 days since I last have seen it. Wow! $400 down the drain. I just can't imagine why apple hasn't set up a way of tracing these things. It's very upsetting and annoying. They just want me to go and spend more money to get a new one. Right! I called to report it to apple and all they said was that I could qualify for a discount on a refurbished iPod. Sure! Give me a "discount" on your used parts.
I still have a glimmer of hope within me that my iPod will fall into the hands of an honest person who will try to reach me by all means necessary. I have posted it on craigslist and several other areas. If anyone finds it contact denver police with the serial number and know that there is a reward for it! Contact me. Thank you.

My Favorite Flower

There's something about this flower I love in pictures but why do they have to have such long stems that droop after a few hours of my husband surprising me with them. *sigh*

How many times do I have to tell you?

We've all heard this one. And now that I'm a mommy, I can't count the times I have said this. It just seems like 2 year olds don't really care (or keep track) of how many times. Funny, because I don't think i can really remember how many times either. How many times do I have to tell you, "don't push your brother", "don't run with pencils", don't pick your nose", "don't wipe your hands on mommy's pants" etc etc.Well, I don't know about you but I was sitting here pondering the whole "how many times do i have tell you" phrase and I was thinking about how many bad habits I have yet to overcome. Because reality is that every single person has to make the choice of obeying their parents or God for that matter...Because the truth is that unless we make that decision within ourselves, then it's never gonna change. We have to take the step to decide, "I'm tired of time outs and consequences, I'm going to change this." So, whether it be picking up your socks and putting them in the hamper where they belong, or spending more quality time with your family instead of working too much, then make the choice...don't delay. A quick decision in your mind & heart can be life changing and change a whole lot of things around you! It can even change the people around you. Just like a stream of water that changes it's course will always change its surroundings. Our lives are made up of decisions. Where are you going to go to college? Who are you gonna love for the rest of your life & Marry? Are you going to have children? Are you going to work or stay home with your children? Those are just some of the common ones. And a very important decision that we all make in life: Are you going to give your life over to Christ, who gave his life for you? You see, when God made Adam, he made him free to make his own choices...he made a bad one in disobeying God's 1 command...but he was free to make that choice. I'm going to paraphrase this, but Paul says in the new testament that everything in life is permissable but not everything is beneficial. SO just because you CAN do it doesn't mean it is the right thing to do. God himself made a decision to give his Son up to die for OUR wrongs, (Wow, we are so loved) I can in no way repay God for what he did, but I'm going to do my best to try to. I will give him my whole heart, my whole life, and do all I can to make sure He is happy with who I am. Because I already know how much he loves me, I can be myself and let him shape and mold me. I hope you let him do the same in your life.

Like a kid again...

Today is such a beautiful day. I am here in Colorado. Just moved here a little over a week ago. Sometimes I can't believe I'm here. WoW. It's really beautiful but I miss my family so much. I'm not sure why God brought us here, but I can't wait to find out. I am glad that we now live in a place where my kids can actually go outside and play. You see, we used to live in Arizona. We moved here from the Phoenix area. Just a few days before I left the temperature was 102 degrees. Talk about Hot. That wasn't even a really hot day! My poor babies were stuck indoors all day long. What kind of life is that?

I remember going outside to play, finding bugs and baby quail. I also remember picking wild berries. Yum! I miss those times, where I didn't have a care in the world except for wondering which of my friends would be free to come play at my house. Those days when the stress of daily living wasn't even in my vocabulary. I so hope for those days for my children. To be free to be a kid as long as they want to be.

What's amazing is that now that I have kids I laugh way more than I used to. I'm so glad to have 2 little goofy grapes to bring me joy into my everyday life. So, every once in a while I get that little moment where I myself feel like a kid again and nothing else matters in the world but having fun.

Mama Land

Well, I'm here dreaming in Mama Land.
It's so awesome...I'm a mommy now. My little baby boy. Micah Isaiah Rosado. Who could ever ask for more. I realize when I look into his eyes, He's Mine. Wow. Then I think to myself...no. God, He's Yours. Yep This is a life that will be there forever. Onto eternity. I only pray, every night that he will follow in Christ's steps. I think to myself...This is my child, born of my flesh. Everytime I see him I smile...yes, even at those 3am feedings every night. His smile automatically makes me smile no matter what. I love him sooo much! And not only that but I know his cry. I know the cry that says "mama feed me". I know the cry that says "mama burp me" :-) I know the cry that says "mama I'm sleepy" and I know the cry that says "mama CHANGE me!!!"
Now imagine, All this love I have for this one little boy. It's nothing compared to the love God has for him, or for me, or for you. HE created you, he knows you. He knows when your hungry for what is right and what you truly need; something to fill your void. He knows when you have pain inside that needs relief (yes like the baby's burp). He knows when you need peace. And he knows when you need CHANGE.
So if you feel like your ready to let God fill that void inside of you. If you feel like your ready to let God comfort you. If you are ready to let God give you peace of heart and of mind. IF YOU ARE READY TO LET GOD TAKE AWAY THE SIN IN YOUR LIFE AND MAKE YOU A NEW CREATION IN HIM...follow this simple plan---Easy as ABC.
A---Acknowledge you are a sinner.
B---Believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and he died for your sins.
C---Confess your sin and REPENT (Turn away from it and don't do it again).
Tell God everything and ask for forgiveness. He's there. Ready for you. Just let Him take care of it.
Give your life to Him--- He gave His life for you.
P.S. Sometimes my baby cries and fights sleep because he doesn't understand that's what he is really wanting. He just know's that somethings not right. Don't fight what God has for you. HE knows you best. He made you. He loves you and he has a wonderful plan for your life!

Home is where the FOOD is.

Well. I'm here at my parents house. Man, these people never eat here, I can tell....Cause there's no FOOD! Me and Jon are staying the night b/c we are thinking of moving in sometime in september so we can start saving mula for a new house. I just wanted to say that God is soooo Awesome! Our church has bought a couple of properties right there around the church and as many of you know, one of them is going to be turned into a lil Cafe and also new offices for all us staff. Yay! My own office...(No offense Jonathan! I love you.)
Yeah so like I was saying, we also purchased a couple of lots behind the church which we are using for parking. Going good going good.
Well NOW... there is over an acre of land close to the church that went for sale and when we first saw it it was like 1.2 Million dollars. God has really put vision in my dad's heart to buy a lot of this land around the church to expand! Well, the church prayed on Monday Night Prayer (6:00pm if you wanna join) and they prayed for that land. TADA!!! They went to go talk to the owners and found out they had brought the price down like $400,000! So now it's up for $800,000!!!!! WOW.
The house we bought for the cafe was almost 200,000 and they gave it to us for 100,000! That's God. We want to make an offer for $400,000 because that is the amount the loan company granted us. We are believing God that He will provide a way. So keep praying for us and this land.
Our vision is to make the current church an education center, have a cafe for fellowship and what not, Build a Multipurpose Gymnasium on the current land we have that will triple the amount of people we have on sunday mornings now, and maybe build on the land behind us to have a recovery home for those who are getting off drugs and that lifestyle, we are hoping that we can buy the two homes that are between this land we are praying for and the current church. That would almost give us the whole block. MAN WE SHOULD MAKE THE CITY AN OFFER FOR THE WHOLE CITY...YEAH!!! :)
Jon's vision is to start a Master's commission and get these Uth discipled for Jesus! God is doing SOOOO much it's not even funny! I don't even think I mentioned all we plan to do or what is already in progress, but you probably get my drift now. Pray hard all you prayer warriors. God wants to reach Avondale, Arizona and all the surrounding areas!!!!
For those of you still with me on this Blog Post! Thanks So much for your interest. And God Bless y'all. Keep us in your prayers....
As a little added note!! WE HAVE 4 WEEKS LEFT UNTIL MY DUE DATE!!! WOOOOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
